EPHM's 6th Annual Summer Camp: Tales of Courage, June 16-20

The El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center will present its 6th annual summer camp June 16-20, 2014. This year’s theme will be “Tales of Courage.” The camp will be from 9am to 12pm each day. The cost is $50.00 for the first child registered in a family; $40.00 for each additional child registered in a family; $40.00 for Museum members. The cost includes snacks and supplies each day, camp T-shirt and book, and pizza party on the last day. This camp is for ages 8 to 12 years old. This year’s camp will explore the heroic acts of young people during the Holocaust. Participants will learn the history of the Holocaust through the stories and actions of these amazing people in an age-sensitive setting and through hands-on activities and projects. Participants will also be able to meet a Holocaust survivor and hear his remarkable story of survival as a child during the Holocaust. The week will conclude with an age-appropriate tour of the El Paso Holocaust Museum followed by certificate of completion ceremony and pizza party.
